Ashleigh Simpson is Ancora’s Chief Investment Officer, responsible for leading the firm’s national investment strategy, capital formation efforts, and oversight of acquisitions and asset management.
With more than 25 years of experience in real estate investment and portfolio management, Ashleigh has executed over $8 billion in transactions across sectors including industrial, retail, office, and life sciences. Prior to joining Ancora, he held senior investment roles at Grosvenor and MetLife Investment Management, where he helped build and scale institutional investment platforms. He is widely regarded as a trusted and incisive leader with a consistent track record of delivering results for institutional investors.
Mr. Simpson, in honor of his parents, launched a self-funded scholarship for high school seniors seeking to attend a four-year college/university. He also serves as a mentor to military veterans, aspiring leaders, and local community members. Ashleigh is a decorated U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Master of Science in Real Estate from Georgetown University.
